One month since the end of STPM. Looking at how things are going, I am officially unemployed. Nothing for me to do at the moment, except surfing the Internet, photographing things and contributing to Wikipedia.
Even when I gotten myself a job, it will be hard for me to wake up in the morning. For the record, these days I wake up at 11 am. Obviously I am not a morning person, and alarm clocks are ineffective. During my school days my mother will wake me up (yea yea, laugh if you want). My biological clock for sleep seems to be set to twelve hours.
Working in a game shop? Sounds fun. I could use a PS2. And the additional benefits, such as free games is a magnet. The downside is that the risks are huge. Getting in trouble with the police is a no-no. And the distance is quite far, requiring me to commute by car. I don't need to tell you that the fuel for such will be killing me monthly. There's no bus service to the place, and I don't have a motorcycle.
Welcome to the real world, NSDS3.

Christmas is approaching
To my Christian readers and friends, Merry Christmas. Nevermind what some people will think about me.
This year, Christmas is celebrated in the rain. It's raining heavily everday now. Either we will have a wet Christmas or a flooded Christmas.
If you are searching for the real meaning of Christmas, buried by intense commercialisation, read this. Listening to Duran Duran, sometimes I wonder what the hell I am doing. No doubt influenced by the Snark, I've taken 80's music into my heart.
I recommend listening to Wham's Last Christmas and Band Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas.

Mount Singghi
Looks like a lesung (mortar). Or even a dead volcano. It is located south of Mount Serapi (to the left of it if you view the mountain from Kuching).
Photographed from the top of Bukit Siol, where the North Kuching City Hall is.

The Sarawak Museum.
Mount Serapi and the Matang range. Taken from Wisma Saberkas.
Kuching International Airpot.

Sad as a rat
Been thinking about my friends that I won't see anymore. I'm not a social man, rarely attending gatherings. They are spread out everywhere. Some are in Russia, other in the States. Even in Malaysia they are widely dispersed.
My butt is stuck to the computer chair. Trillian is not running. I'm trying to hide. Not from anyone, but from myself.
I need coffee.

Busy Holiday/I'll Never See Them Again
Holiday means slacking off? No, it gets busier for me.
I attended a meet with my friends on the 23rd. Became a 'consultant' for Mr. L, who bought a Playstation 2 on the 24th. After that, it became so hectic that I can't remember what I've done. What have I done?! D:
Anyway, back on topic. My parents' foster daughter arrived in Kuching on the 30th and will be staying with us until Christmas. Now, don't you dare suggest naughty things. Not with my mother's sixth sense.
--
School's ended. Goodbye. While I don't show it, deep in my heart I know that for some of my friends, this will be the last time I'll be seeing them. Fate, life and death have a part in it. I've seen the example in my father. 25 years after his Form 5, there are still his friends that he met for the first time for 25 years. Some had passed on.
My advice to those still studying: write your full address in the school magazine. Buy a school magazine, don't make excuses. Don't try and not put your name in it.
Believe me, twenty years from now you'll regret it.
