Dr. Liew's article concerning this blog.
So he can track back to them. or was it a shameless attempt to increase traffic to my site? :P Anyway, stay tuned, as I might have something interesting for you...

No, I did not cut and paste that from some 'Learn Japanese Quickly' site.
It has been two years since I had started taking up Japanese. Yet, little progress was made, probably due to lack of exercise and practical. My method of learning is spontaneous, burst here burst there; read a little there and check it up on JWPce. JWPce is a nifty little word processor, and can be used to type little Japanese. It is not, however, a Japanese Microsoft Word. But you can cut and paste, if your Windows have Japanese language support that is (If you don't, download it from Microsoft's site.) Currently I only had two fonts that support Japanese; MS Mincho and MS Gothic.
Computer translations are not always perfect. The results are often mind-numbing and hilarious. Should you want to read a Japanese site in a rather unique way instead of translating it, you can choose to go with Rikai. It can be used to read Kanjis, and had been very useful for me. Rikai can also translate from English to Japanese for Japanese.
For the time being, Ⴀ܂(If I blog tomorrow, which I'm sure I won't)

Bloggers Meeting and Kuching Jazz Festival
I hope that I can make it to the Kuching Jazz Festival (16-17 October). Why? Some bloggers are attending, including Wena, whose blog offer looks at various restaurants and cafes. One word can describe it: food! If you are interested, visit Wena's blog! (Interested either in the Jazz Festival, Mum-Mum (her blog) or the meeting.
Of Googlism and Names
Played a little bit with Googlism after learning it from Dr. Liew's blog, who learnt it from AuyongTC's blog. My God, that's a lot of referrals! (Referrals increased a site's traffic, which propels it in the search engines. As a result, less popular sites are at the bottom of the list.)
My results:
-nsds3 is a secondary school student with scores of straight a's in pmr
The cat is out of the bag! (This originates from Dr. Liew's blog)
-nsds3 is 229
I don't know that I'm that old. Maybe my memory is failing me. After all, I'm 229! :P

-Exam Greift An! Add. Maths - Guaranteed failed. I like the graphs though.

My friend was involved in a road accident near the state library yesterday (he was going back home from the library). He died this morning and was buried in the afternoon. Nobody has told me about this, and I had only found out this night. Therefore, I cannot attend his funeral. Just like when my grandfather died, 14 years ago.
May God bless his soul. Amen.

Bin Gregory noticed a strange fruit at the market.
"...When I spotted this fruit in the market, I left the stall I was standing at and zipped over to the neighboring stall where it was being sold, five-year-old in tow. I started asking the hawker about the fruit when the lady from the previous stall came over, carrying my crying three-year-old. She shot me this look that said "you delinquent father you!" Oops! ..."

Remember Dr. Liew's blog? Guess what, he found me! I better get into hiding quick...
In the meanwhile, check out Bin Gregory Productions. It is a blog about a Muslim American who is living in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
Assalamualaikum!

I call promotional videos 'propaganda'. Don't know why, but it sounds better than calling them commercials.
Kids nowadays don't usually ride buses anymore. So when I went to a seminar this morning with my class, I was dismayed to find an air-conditioned bus (tour bus) for our transport. But upon returning, the bus had been exchanged for another one that is your typical Malaysian bus.
I like it. The space inside, running around, standing when the bus is about to stop (to get some inertia)...
Two other classes from our school went for a picnic in Matang. They brought with them an exchange student from Japan (he'll be going back on the 17th). Me and Nabil (my Sakura-obsessed friend) managed to try our newbie "Nihon-go' skills on him. Oh, so much fun we have. And to our friends: Hey guys, SPM is near!!

Another anime quiz. Look what I got this time. Why must it be a girl?!?
Hoeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! |
You're a Magical Girl! |
You're sugar-hyped, caffeine-hyped, and permanently genki-er than a whole busload of Disney characters on crack. You eat too much, you're a total klutz, and somehow this makes you an ideal candidate for saving the world. If you're really unlucky, you get to get naked in an embarrassing transformation sequence in every single episode, with only a few sparkles and pastel blobs to cover your dignity. Which generic anime character are you? |
Ouch ouch ouch...it'd been 3 months since this blog was last updated...
Anyway, I won't end with those words above. Sites that use them usually...'disappear.'
Dr. Liew's blog is a good example for all bloggers out there. Efficient, clean, etc. Seriously, if you are looking for a blog that is updated daily with *very* interesting entries, this is it!
Tomorrow I shall post the links to other blogs as well.( And increases that site's ratings on Google :P )
See ya.

The skies are clear, and I'm feeling happy though I did not attend school today because I have a head-splitting headache yesterday. So I woke up at 12 pm, eat a little lunch and breakfast (considering that I did not eat breakfast this morning). My mom's gone to clean my uncle's house next door. She was asked by him to do that twice a month with pay.
Currently I am watching Hour Asia on Discovery Channel. At the moment, it's about geisha, and the next hour will be 'clash between tradition and modernisation'. I watched only the second half of the geisha, as I was watching AXN's Boys Be.
For most of students, Teacher's Day have passed, but our school level celebration is going to be held tomorrow (20th May). I think a meeting was held today to determine who is responsible for what (as we are going to held a party for the teachers) but I'm not sure, and I will call my friend today to find out. Hope that I will not be the servant tomorrow....(as they might use the excuse 'You were absent yesterday')
Talk to you later, as I need rest.

I've created a J-List archive at this page. The purpose of that site is to archive all of Peter Payne's postings about Japan. Very good read if you ask me.

My friend have went back to his hostel (dormitory); ending a three day stay with me at my house during the holidays of Maulidur Rasul and Wesak Day. One of the reasons that I can't update this thing. I'll be going back to school tomorrow, and the good news is; the teacher's are still checking the exam papers so that leaves us students a lot of free time to do...whatever we want to!
Love Hina episode 3 was finished. Now I'm downloading Episode 4 over my ol' 56k. Anyone who want to give me the complete series as a present are welcome to do so *evil grin*. My friends introduced me to this site: http://animeintro.net . It have some anime openings and endings (not all, but it's a lot to me). Just make sure you have Real Player before downloading (get the free one). With the demise of one of my usual-visited manga download site, my Chobits manga downloads have grind to a halt. Last year was the worst data loss disaster ever. I lost almost 3 GB of data; including but not limited to manga scans of Rurouni Kenshin (Volume 1 till 12), Detective Conan, ROMs, pictures, website templates, exes and a lot of sentimental things (some of them are from the year 1998)
Do you play games online? Do you find Star Wars Galaxies too demanding? Perhaps you need to visit http://www.swcombine.com .
Do you newsgroup? If so, drop by at tmnet.communities (might be unaccessible if you're from another ISP, but it doesn't matter as you can use google) and search for me!
It's 6 pm, and I need to get a shower early to get my daily dosage of anime from 1830 till 2000. Ja!

Welcome to my not-so good blog. I, NSDS3, is a high-school student in my final year (hopefully it will be my LAST year) and will sit for a university entrance examination this year (SPM).
Aye, it's that time of the year again. Mid-year exams, and after that, a one week+ long holiday. Hardly enough, since I sleep at 12am and woke up at 6am, rarely sleeping in the evening. Whenever the test's is scheduled in the afternoon, I will get neck-aches and headaches. In the morning, I sneeze a lot, sometimes one handkerchief is not enough.
My state of mind is currently anime madness. I've downloaded episode 1 and 2 of Love Hina, with Episode 3 on the quque. On a 56k, it's not an easy task, as it demands money and time too.
So till next time, visit Dr. Liew's blogs at http://doc.blog.o12.org. Bye! :)

Well-endowed both in mind and in body, you don't hesitate to use both to your advantage! Your confidence and sense of humour make you a pleasure to be around. You're crafty, clever and cute - a formula that would bring any man to his knees! But while your wit and charisma are definite assets, others may not be able to keep up with your resourceful intelligence. Take care not to overwhelm people with your treasures.
Which Love Hina Girl Are You?
